Modal Dynamics and Biased Geometry
Modal Dynamics and the End of Fields
Physics has inherited a story: that the world is made of particles, governed by fields, obeying symmetries, and losing order through entropy. This story has been incredibly successful—but it is not necessary.
This project is a reconstruction from first principles. It discards the metaphysical assumptions of particles and fields, and replaces them with a single idea: coherence.
Every structure we observe—mass, charge, spin, gravitation, decay, and even redshift—emerges from how coherent modes interact, persist, or fail. Nothing else is assumed.
What This Is
This is a theory built from scratch:
- No particles
- No forces
- No fields
- No entropy
Instead, the entire structure arises from:
- The evolution of coherent modes
- A bias principle that governs their stability
- A coherence cost functional that drives structure
- A replacement for gravity, quantum fields, and thermodynamics
Where to Start
- Primer — An intuitive, metaphor-driven introduction
- Phase-Biased Geometry — The full formal structure of coherence, anchoring, and motion
- SM Companion — A complete replacement for the Standard Model
- Appendix Master — Detailed derivations, from the speed of light to Casimir pressure
- Observations — Predictions, experiments, and divergences from GR and QFT
Why This Matters
- It explains phenomena without requiring particles or quantum fields.
- It reproduces the Lamb shift, neutrino oscillation, and redshift from structure.
- It solves the flat galaxy rotation curves and Mercury’s precession with no gravity.
- It shows entropy is not fundamental—it is structural disintegration.
- It dissolves the Standard Model and builds a cleaner one.
This isn’t an interpretation.
It’s a replacement.
